Delete your account

You can ask us to delete your HouseDaddyAI account and the data connected to it at any time. This applies to your account on housedaddyai.com and in the House Daddy mobile app, which share the same account.

1. How to request deletion

In the mobile app: open Account, choose Account deletion, then Request account deletion. The app saves a receipt so you can check the status of your request.

By email: write to support@housedaddyai.com with the subject Account deletion request, from the email address on your account. Tell us whether you want the whole account deleted or only certain data, such as imported lists, saved reports or notifications.

2. How we verify it is you

Requests made in the signed-in mobile app are already verified. For email requests, we reply to your account email and ask you to confirm. If you write from a different address, we will ask you to write from your account email instead. We will never ask for your password, a sign-in or reset code, or a full card number.

3. What happens next

We complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request and email you to confirm what was deleted and what we kept.
Any active subscription is cancelled right away, and you will not be charged again.
Unused credits are forfeited when the account is deleted.
Orders already in progress, such as a title report, are finished and delivered first, unless you ask us to cancel them.
If there is an open payment dispute or chargeback, we finish deletion once it is resolved.

4. What we delete

Your profile: name, email address and password hash.
Imported lists, saved properties, collections, reports, photos, field records and notes.
Coach Karter conversations, push subscriptions and mobile device tokens.
Your account activity records, after the retention period below.

5. What we keep, and for how long

Billing, payment and order records (amounts, dates, products and invoices) for 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires it. Payment records stay with our payment processor, Stripe.
Account activity and security records for up to 12 months after deletion, to prevent fraud and handle disputes.
A record of your deletion request (date, scope and that it was completed), so we can show it was handled.
Backups and server logs can hold copies until they expire on our providers' normal schedules.

Information that came from public records or data providers, such as property ownership records, is not part of your account and is not affected by deleting it. Data you shared with others through the Service before deletion cannot be recalled from them.

6. On your own device

Deleting your account does not remove data stored on your own device. Uninstall the mobile app, and clear site data for housedaddyai.com in your browser settings.
